It appeared as though my coworkers and other people around me were more careful, so as to not get ‘infected’ with my horrible condition.

This behavior of every other person in my life developed a deep sense of shame in me, a feeling of guilt.

My Eczema Symptoms

My Eczema mostly appeared on my hands, feet and neck region.

All of these areas were clearly visible to the outside world.

Though my feet could be hidden inside shoes, the closed environment inside shoes led the infection to grow worse, and I was recommended to discontinue wearing shoes.

My condition was on public display for everyone to see and I felt like such a mess.

Always scratching myself, the rashes were extremely itchy and the itches oozed with fluid sometimes.

My symptoms were the classic telltale signs of Eczema.

I had scaly dry and wet patches accompanied by occasional oozing.

Sometimes these patches had blisters on them, and these blisters were the grossest things you have ever seen in life.

These blisters had yellow pus inside them and would hurt like hell.

Other symptoms included blotchy red skin and horrible itching that would never end.

Even if it did look like it was going away, it would make a fresh reappearance somewhere else on the skin and continue with the same set of symptoms.

Ever since I had been diagnosed with having Atopic Dermatitis, my parents were told that I would suffer from Eczematic skin.
